Stacy Johnson was a transfer to IC and played two seasons on the softball team, but in that time, made a tremendous impact on the program. Johnson helped return Ithaca back into the national spotlight with back-to-back trips to the NCAA Northeast Regionals in 1991 and 1992. The Bombers took eventual national champions, Eastern Connecticut, to 10 innings in the '91 regional as Johnson pitched every inning of that tournament.

The Bombers compiled a 46-25 record during Johnson's two years at IC and her name still appears in the College's record book. She ranks 10th in career strikeouts with 191 and is tied for 12th in career wins with 31.

In 1992, Johnson ranked 10th nationally in wins (17), 19th in strikeouts-per-seven innings (4.7) and 23rd in ERA (1.42). That season set Ithaca standards in strikeouts (112) and wins.

For her career, Johnson finished with a 31-15 record with 191 strikeouts in 324 innings pitched, to go along with a 1.43 ERA.
