Ithaca College Athletic Hall of Fame
Duncan Donald '50 played basketball and baseball at Ithaca. As a senior he helped both teams set school records for wins in a season. Following his graduation he signed with the Chicago White Sox and spent three years as a shortstop in the White Sox system. His high school coaching career includes a 52-24-4 football record with four league championships and a 14-year mark of 159-98 with three titles in boy's basketball, both at Glen Cove High School. The gymnasium at that school was renamed in his honor in 1982. Donald was named Glen Cove's Man of the Year in 1982.
