Ithaca College Athletic Hall of Fame
Frank Toomey '47, M.S. '48 won two letters each in football and baseball at Ithaca, with those two years being separated by World War II. After several years of high school coaching, he served as an assistant football coach at Florida State from 1954-58, and at the University of Maryland from 1959-65. He then went on to become a professor of physical education and head football and golf coach at Montgomery Junior College in Rockville, Md.
