Szabo, a soccer All-American in 1964 and 1965, set school records for most goals in a career (80), most goals in a season (35), most goals in a game (6), most assists in a game (3), most points in a career (100), most points in a season (43), and most points in a game (9). On the gridiron, Szabo set school records for most field goals in a game (4), most field goals in a season (9), and most field goals in a career (9). His first field goal kick was a school-record 43 yards. He is now soccer coach at DePaul University.
