Ithaca College Athletics

Bob Sampson '49 played baseball and basketball at Ithaca and also served as president of the senior class. As a high school coach and administrator he compiled stellar records coaching football, basketball, golf and track at Onondaga, Mamaroneck and Locust Valley High School and at Hackly Prep School. He spent 25 years at the Brunswick School, posting a football record of 140-14 with eight league championships. He also won league titles in basketball and golf at Brunswick, where he served as athletic director.
