Ithaca College Athletic Hall of Fame
A two-time All-American, four-time all-region selection and three-time all-conference selection, Kristen Furdon is one of the most decorated softball players in Ithaca College history and helped the Bombers to the 2002 NCAA Division III softball national championship. Furdon earned NFCA First Team All-America honors in 2000 and 2002. She The catcher slugged 24 home runs and drove in 135 runs during her four-year career, with a .344 batting average. The Bombers appeared in the NCAA Division III World Series all four years she was a member of the team and Ithaca achieved a record of 130-51-1. She was named to the all-tournament teams at the NCAA Regionals and World Series in 2002, helping the Bomber softball program to its first national crown.
