Ithaca College Athletics

As a sophomore, Cindy Chiolo '87 became the first Bomber gymnast to win an ECAC individual title; two years later she won the all-around and balance beam crowns at the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) to become the program's first individual national champion. A two-time ECAC champion and two-time runner-up, Chiolo helped Ithaca to four straight ECAC titles. The Bombers placed second at the 1987 national meet -their highest finish to date.
