Dave Murray '84 earned All-America honors before signing with the Texas Rangers and advancing as far as the AA level. A 1983 all-American, Murray was named to the 44-man roster for the 1984 U.S. Olympic baseball team. As a Bomber he batted .332 with 42 extra-base hits and 76 runs batted in in 94 games. He was a key part of four NCAA playoff teams, including two that reached the World Series. Murray won Ithaca's Ben Light Award as a senior.
