Ithaca College Athletic Hall of Fame
Bob Valesente '62 was a three-year letter winner in football and baseball from 1959-62. He served as co-captain of the 1962 baseball squad which made it to the College World Series. In addition he had a career batting average of .333 and averaged 5.3 yards per rush in his football career. After three years of professional baseball, Valesente became the freshman baseball coach at Cornell University. He then moved on to become an assistant football coach for the Big Red.
