Hilton Head, S.C. - The Ithaca men's tennis team (5-2) won its second match in as many days during its spring trip to South Carolina, defeating Dickinson 7-2 Tuesday afternoon. The Bombers won two of three doubles matches and five of six singles contests.
Senior Taylor Borda (West Morris-Mendham/Chester, N.J.), junior Josh Rifkin (Homestead/Fort Wayne, Ind.) and senior Daniel Wolk (The Field School/Potomac, Md.) were double-winners for the Bombers, each picking up victories in both singles and doubles action. Borda and Rifkin won 8-2 at first doubles, and Wolk teamed with sophomore Jimmy Newton (Florida Virtual School/Englewood, Fla.) to win 8-4 at second doubles. All three were straight-set winners in singles play.
The Bombers will take on the College of Wooster Wednesday.
