2008-09 Statistics

2008-09: Rifkin earned All-Empire 8 First Team honors in singles and doubles play. He led the Bombers with a 23-3 record in singles play and compiled a 21-match winning streak in singles dual matches including a perfect 8-0 record in Empire 8 matches. Was 22-7 in doubles play and partnered with Taylor Borda in all but one match. That tandem was ranked 12th in the Northeast Region by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. Was named Empire 8 Player of the Week for the week ending April 6 after going 6-0 in singles and doubles play while dropping just two games in singles wins over conference opponents Alfred, Utica and St. John Fisher.

2007-08 Statistics

2007-08: Rifkin was a two-time All-Empire 8 selection as a freshman, earning Second Team recognition in singles and doubles play. Rifkin was 15-9 in singles play in the second and third positions and teamed with Alex Stoler to go 17-6 at second doubles.

High School: A 2007 graduate of Homestead High School, Rifkin was coached by Jim Clark. He earned three varsity letters as a member of the tennis team and served as team captain his senior year. An all-conference, all-district, all-area and all-state performer, he led his team to the state title match in 2006.

Personal: A business administration major, he is the son of Marty and Judy Rifkin.
