Rochester, N.Y. - The Ithaca men's tennis team (1-0) won its first dual match of the season in a 5-3 victory over Rochester at the Flower City Tournament. The Bombers won two doubles matches and three singles matches, and are facing Skidmore in the semifinals this afternoon.

Junior Josh Rifkin (Homestead/Fort Wayne, Ind.) and senior Taylor Borda (West Morris-Mendham/Chester, N.J.) were 8-3 winners at first doubles and senior Daniel Wolk (The Field School/Potomac, Md.) and Jimmy Newton (Florida Virtual School/Englewood, Fla.) won 8-5 at second doubles.

Rifkin won his match at first singles in three sets, and Borda was a straight-sets winner at second singles. Freshman Josh Berggrun (Orange/Pepper Pike, Ohio) won at sixth singles by 6-0, 6-0 scores.
