CHERRY HILL, N.J. – The Ithaca College women's crew concluded the 2019 Knecht Cup on the Cooper River in Cherry Hill, New Jersey on Sunday afternoon.

Meredyth Busam – won the Petite Final with a time of 6:48.70 in a field of Division I schools. The Bombers narrowly edged Boston College, which raced to a time of 6:48.87 while Connecticut took third, followed by Georgetown, Wisconsin and UMass.

The Bombers were in the second heat of the semifinal and finished in 6:50.96, good for sixth place and a trip to tomorrow's petite final at 1 p.m. Ithaca will race against Boston College, Georgetown, Wisconsin, Connecticut and UMass.

Ithaca is back in action next Saturday, April 20, as the Bombers travel to Worcester, Mass. To compete against Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Trinity, Colby, Connecticut College and William Smith. Action is slated to begin at 8 a.m.
