2019-2020
Csernica competed on the Ithaca Sculling team, earning a third-place finish in the Collegiate Single at Green Mountain Head Regatta in Putney, VT (9/30) and second-place finish in the Collegiate Double at Small Boat Challenge in Mercer, NJ (10/5). Csernica also raced in the Women’s Collegiate Eight at Head of the Charles Regatta in Cambridge, MA (10/20), finishing in fifth place. The spring season was cut short after a week of rowing in Gainesville, GA that concluded with a scrimmage against Penn State and Catholic University. Csernica rowed two seat in the First Varsity Eight, contributing to a first-place finish. 

2018-2019
Csernica competed in the Women’s First and Second Varsity Eight boats during the spring season. She began her season as part of a boat earning the Liberty League Boat of the Week Honor (4/7) (Second Varsity Eight). Csernica later earned a first-place finish in the First Varsity Eight at the 2019 Liberty League Championship in Saratoga Springs, NY (5/3), contributing to a Team Championship title. She earned a second-place finish in the Varsity Eight at the New York State Championship in Saratoga Springs, NY (5/4), and contributed to the team winning the Team Points Trophy (5/4). Her boat earned a fifth-place finish in the Varsity Eight Grand Final at the NIRC Regatta in Worcester, MA (5/12). Csernica wrapped up her regular season with another Liberty League Boat of the Week Honor (4/29) (First Varsity Eight). She was part of a boat that placed fourth in the Varsity Eight Grand Final and contributed to a fifth-place team finish at the NCAA Championship in Indianapolis, IN (6/1).

2017-18
Csernica split time between the Women’s Second and Third Varsity Eight Boats during her sophomore campaign... She helped the women’s Second Varsity Eight win the Petite Final at the NCAA Championships, which lead the team to a Fourth-Place finish at the 2018 NCAA Championships in Sarasota, Fla. (5/26)...

2016-17

Csernica was a key rower in the Women’s Novice Eight during her rookie season. She contributed to a Second-Place finish in the grand final with a time of 7:13.61 at the NIRC Championship, which helped the team winning the NIRC Women's Points Trophy (5/12)... And won her heat at the New York State Championships with a time of 7:25.30 (5/6)...

High School

Csernica graduated Lewisburg Area High School where she varsity letters in track & field, field hockey, and cross country.

Kelly, a Health Sciences major, is the daughter of Jeff & Mary Csernica.
