Busam was a major contributor on the Bombers' Varsity Eight as a junior, helping the team to a Fourth-Place finish at the 2018 NCAA Championships in Sarasota, Fla. (5/26)...She was part of a boat that was named Liberty League Boat of the Week four separate times during the year and won Liberty League Crew of the Year...Helped Varsity Eight to a fourth-place finish in time of 16:35.965 at the 53rd Head of the Charles Regatta (10/22)...Part of Varsity Eight group that won both heats in five-team event hosted by Worcester Polytechnic Institute (4/21)...Part of Varsity Eight group that placed first in its heat at the Ithaca College 50-Year Celebration on the Cayuga Lake Inlet (4/28)...Helped the Bombers to First-Place finishes at both the 2018 Liberty League Championships (5/4) and New York State Championships (5/5)...Part of Varsity Eight boat that took Runner-Up at the NIRC Women's Championships (5/11)...Part of Varsity Eight boat that took Runner-Up at the 2018 NCAA Championship Grand Final (5/26).

Busam was a key rower on the Bombers' top Varsity Eight boat as a sophomore, helping the team to a Fourth-Place finish at the 2017 NCAA Championships at Lake Mercer in West Windsor, N.J. (5/27)...Helped the Women's Varsity Eight to a Fourth-Place finish at the NCAA Grand Final Championships (5/27)...Helped Women's Varsity Eight to Third-Place finish at NIRC Championships, which contributed to the team winning the NIRC Women's Points Trophy  (5/12)...Part of boat that won First-Place at the New York State Championships (5/6)...Part of Women's Varsity Collegiate Eight that took Runner-Up at 52nd Head of the Charles Regatta (10/29).

2015-16
Busam competed in several novice events during her rookie season in 2015-16...Won the John Hunter Regatta in Gainesville, Georgia (3/28)...Placed third at the New York State Championships as a part of the Women's Novice B Eight (4/30)...Finished sixth as a part of the Women's Novice B Eight at the NIRC Championships (5/8).

High School
Busam graduated Colorado Academy where she was a member of the varsity swim team.
