2019-20
Brian competed in her fourth year on the Ithaca Sculling team. During her final season, she earned a second-place finish in the Collegiate Single at Green Mountain Head Regatta (9/30), first-place finish in the Open Double at Small Boat Challenge in Mercer, NJ (10/5), third-place finish in the Inclusion Double at Head of the Charles Regatta in Cambridge, MA (10/20), and second-place finish in the Lightweight Single at Head of the Fish in Saratoga Springs, NY (10/26). The spring season was cut short after a week of rowing in Gainesville, GA that concluded with a scrimmage against Penn State and Catholic University. Brian rowed bow seat in the Second Varsity Eight, contributing to a second-place finish, right behind the IC First Varsity Eight.
2018-19
Brian had another competitive fall season on the Ithaca Sculling team. She earned a second-place finish in the Collegiate Double A Final at the Small Boat Challenge in Mercer, NJ (10/7), third-place finish in the Open Inclusion Mixed Double at Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, MA (10/21), and first-place finish in the Lightweight Single at Head of the Fish in Saratoga Springs, NY (10/27). During her spring campaign, Brian was a key contributor as coxswain of the First Varsity Eight. Early in the season, she was part of a boat that earned the Liberty League Boat of the Week Honor (3/31) (First Varsity Eight). She contributed to a first-place finish in the Women’s Varsity Eight Petite Final at Knecht Cup in Cherry Hill, NJ (4/14), earning the honor of Liberty League Boat of the Week again (4/14). Brian concluded her regular season with another Liberty League Boat of the Week Honor (4/29). Brian helped navigate her boat to a first-place finish at the 2019 Liberty League Championship in Saratoga Springs, NY (5/3). At the New York State Championship in Saratoga Springs, NY (5/4), her boat earned a second-place finish in the Varsity Eight and contributed to the team winning the Team Points Trophy (5/4). Brian led the Varsity Eight to a fifth-place finish in the Grand Final of the NIRC Regatta in Worcester, MA (5/12). Her boat placed fourth in the Varsity Eight Grand Final and contributed to a fifth-place team finish at the NCAA Championship in Indianapolis, IN (6/1). Brian was later honored as a member of the All Liberty League Women’s Rowing Team and Liberty League Crew of the Year (First Varsity Eight).
2017-18
Brian returned to a successful sculling season in the fall, repeating her win in the Lightweight Single at Cayuga Duels. She also came in ourth-Place in Open Inclusion-Mixed Double at Head of the Charles, and came in Third-Place in Open Single at Small Boat Championships.
2016-17
Brian made was a key rower on the sculling team during he Bomber debut on the sculling team. She won her first race as a Bomber in the Women’s Lightweight Single at the Cayuga Duals. During the spring sweep season, she had an undefeated season in the in the Women’s Lightweight Four, and helped navigate her boat through an undefeated season for the third year in a row. She won the Open-weight Four Grand Final at NIRC, which contributed to the team winning the overall Women’s Points Trophy at the NIRC Championship (5/12)...
High School
Brian graduated Ridgefield High School where she received the Scholar Athlete Award, and served as the team captain of GMS Rowing Center her senior year. During her prep career, she competed at USRowing Youth Nationals in 2015, where she came in 13th place in Lightweight Women's double. At the 2016 USRowing Youth Nationals, she came in Sixth-Place in Lightweight Women's double and Eighth-Place 8th in Open-weight Women's Quad.

Jennie, a Physical Therapy major, is the daughter of Denise & Rob Brian.
