ITHACA, N.Y. - The Ithaca men's tennis team (15-2, 8-0 Empire 8) finished its regular season with a 9-0 win over Elmira (2-9, 1-6 Empire 8) Saturday at the Ithaca College Tennis Courts. Ithaca will be the top seed in next weekend's Empire 8 Tournament at Mercer County Park in West Windsor, N.J. and will face RIT in the semifinals. The Bombers have won 19 straight Empire 8 regular-season matches dating back to 2008.

Ithaca's three seniors were honored prior to the start of the match and all contributed to the victory. Andrew Kalicki (Drury/North Adams, Mass.) played his first varsity match and was an 8-2 winner at third doubles. Taylor Borda (West Morris-Mendham/Chester, N.J.) won 8-1 at first doubles and 6-2, 6-1 at second singles. Danny Wolk (The Field School/Potomac, Md.) won 8-2 at second doubles and 6-1, 6-0 at third singles.
