ITHACA, N.Y. - The Ithaca men's tennis team (10-2, 3-0 Empire 8) dropped just one set over nine matches in a 9-0 win over visiting Hartwick (3-4, 2-2 Empire 8) Wednesday afternoon at the IC Tennis Courts.

Sophomore Jimmy Newton (Florida Virtual School/Englewood, Fla.) didn't drop a single game as he won 8-0 at second doubles and 6-0, 6-0 at third singles. Sophomore Dan Levine (Monroe Woodbury/Highland Mills) won 6-2, 6-1 at sixth singles.

Ithaca returns to action Saturday at Nazareth.
