Claremont, Calif.--Pomona-Pitzer scored twice in the eighth inning to edge Ithaca (0-5) 4-3 Friday afternoon. Senior Tom Fishback (Penfield/Webster) threw a complete game against the Sage Hens (14-5).

Down 1-0, the Bombers scored three times in the sixth to take the lead. With one out, senior Jon Krakower (The Berkshire School/Albany) drew a walk. Junior Rob Zappia (Greece Athena/Rochester) drove him in on a double. After a popout, junior Trevor Wolf (Lansing/Freeville) drew a walk. A wild pitch moved Zappia and Krakower in, and they both scored on a base hit.

Pomona-Pitzer pulled the score to 3-2 on a sacrifice fly and took the lead on an RBI single and a wild pitch in the eighth inning.

Fishback threw eight innings and struck out two.

At the plate #T.J. Abone# (Rome Free Academy/Rome) picked up a pair of hits.
