Game-by-Game Statistics

2009: Fishback was a first-team all-Empire 8 player after leading the Bombers with 82.1 innings pitched and 56 strikeouts. His innings total was the eighth-highest in Ithaca history. He also tied for the team lead with eight wins. He threw six complete games including games against RIT and Stevens in which he did not allow an earned run. Fishback set a new career-high with nine strikeouts in a win over the Ducks, one of six games with five or more strikeouts. He 8-3 with a 1.73 ERA in his final 11 games of the season. Fishback started the NCAA playoff game against Cortland, holding the Red Dragons to two earned runs in 7.2 innings.

2008: Fishback made 12 appearances—including eight starts—as a sophomore, compiling a 4-1 record. All four of his wins came in Empire 8 play. Fishback recorded a 3.32 ERA in 40.2 innings, with 31 strikeouts against 17 walks. He threw 17.2 scoreless innings from March 16 to April 16, including six shutout innings in a start against Stevens. He won three straight starts during the run. Fishback struck out a career-high six batters in a start against Oneonta, and allowed just three hits and a walk.

2007: Fishback played on the junior varsity team.

Career Statistics

High School: A 2006 graduate of Webster Schroeder High School, Fishback was coached by Matt Knight. He earned all-county honors as a junior and senior.

Personal: A business administration major, he is the son of Robert and Karen Fishback. His brother, John, was a pitcher at Rochester.
