From the Desk of Your AD - July 2026

Dear Ithaca College Athletics Community,

As I reflect on my first year as Athletic Director at Ithaca, I am filled with gratitude and pride for all that we have accomplished together. It has been another successful year for the Bombers, as our student-athletes continued to compete at the highest level across the board, earning NCAA tournament appearances, winning Liberty League titles, and bringing the Cortaca Jug back home.

Our student-athletes also continued to be recognized for their success in the classroom, demonstrating the commitment, discipline, and excellence that define what it means to be a Bomber. More than the wins, championships, and academic honors, this year has given me the opportunity to get to know Ithaca, our alumni, our families, and this remarkable community. I have quickly learned just how special this place truly is, and I could not be more excited about where we are headed.

We also made tremendous progress as a department, from opening our state-of-the-art outdoor track and field facility through the generosity of the Egan Family, to launching the Wegmans Refueling Station, to most recently introducing the Bomber Club. Most importantly, we did all of this with your support. Because of the generosity of our alumni, families, friends, and donors, we set giving records and created even more momentum for the future of Bomber Athletics.

Thank you for believing in our student athletes, our coaches, and the vision we are building together. I am honored to be part of this community, and I look forward to all that is ahead for the Bombers.

Aaron Bouyea,

Director of Athletics & Campus Recreation
