Women’s Track & Field Wins First Liberty League Outdoor Title Since 2021

CANTON, N.Y. –
The Ithaca College women's track & field team claimed its fourth Liberty League Outdoor Championship and first since 2021 as the Bombers totaled 213 points at St. Lawrence University. Ithaca entered the day with an 18-point lead and finished the championship with a 32-point edge over Rochester.

Ithaca scored 19 points in the heptathlon as Cameron Ting was the champion with 4264 points, while Cecelia LaBonte took third with 3994 points and Isabel Rossbach finished sixth with 3660.

Rachel Larson was the 100-meter hurdles champion in a time of 14.02 seconds and Aynisha McQuillar secured the 100-meter dash title in 12.07 seconds.

McQuillar took second overall in the 200-meter dash in 24.91 seconds and Vallentina Wallin was a fourth place runner in 25.57 seconds.

The Bombers podiumed four runners in the 400-meter hurdles as Larson was the runner-up in 1:05.29, while Maria Prattico took fourth in 1:08.65, Kaden LeChase placed fifth at 1:09.31 and Harper O'Neill was sixth at 1:09.34.

Four IC jumpers reached the podium in the high jump as Celia Ryan took second with a clearance of 1.57 meters to lead the group. Lydia Barber and LaBonte each cleared 1.47 meters to place fifth and sixth, while Ting was eighth at the same height.

Lily Seyfert placed third in the shot put with a top mark of 12.89 meters, while Hannah Bouwens was sixth at 11.49 meters and Leanny Castro followed in seventh at 11.20 meters.

Kayleigh Milligan and Joy Petersen went 5-6 in the 1500-meter run with times of 4:51.43 and 4:51.70.

Ithaca took three podium spots in the 400-meter dash as Ava Butler finished fifth in 58.93 seconds, while Meredith Colla was sixth at 59.42 and Wallin came in eighth in a time of 1:00.39.

Lola Gitlin and Hannah Pawlowski were fifth and seventh overall in the 5000-meter run with times of 17:38.99 and 17:45.19. Charlotte Powell and Enya Green posted marks of 37.17 and 35.47 meters in the discus to finish in fifth and seventh.

The 4x400-meter relay squad of Butler, Julia Ryba, Wallin and Colla were fourth overall in 4:05.11. IC's 4x100-meter relay team of Marykate Rudnicki, Larson, Butler and McQuillar finished sixth with 53.14 seconds.

Rudnicki was a sixth place finisher in the 100 dash in 12.50 seconds, while Larson followed in seventh at 12.54 seconds and Rossbach also ran in the 100 hurdles final and finished eighth in 15.52 seconds.

Alex Brown and Anneliese Hubbard were sixth and eighth in the triple jump with marks of 10.90 and 10.81 meters.
