ITHACA, N.Y. – Junior Nicolas Luis of the Ithaca College men's tennis team was named to the All-Liberty League Second Team, announced on Friday. Luis was previously a 2022 Honorable Mention. He earned a spot on the Second Team singles squad after an exceptional season for the Bombers.
 
Luis led the team in wins, finishing with a 12–4 overall record and a 4–4 conference record in the top singles spot for the Ithaca. Luis had a six-match win streak during the season where he picked up a 6–2, 6–1 win over Kael Shah of No. 10 Denison University. 
 
Luis also defeated Sean Pesin of Hobart College 6–2 and 6–1 and Nathan Turtledove of St. Lawrence College 7–6 in both sets. Ithaca College concluded the 2023 season with a 6-10 overall record as they just missed out on qualifying for the Liberty League Tournament.
