CANTON, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's tennis team finished the final day of the St. Lawrence Fall Classic on Sunday with junior
Deon Kraft victorious in the singles "D" consolation flight and first year
Jimin Woo and junior
Nicolas Luis reaching the doubles "B" flight finals.
Kraft dominated his opponent again in the consolation flight, defeating Hobart's Aidan Staunton 8–0 to advance to the finals. Junior
Jacob Wachs also won his match in the same flight, beating Rochester's Ethan Chin in extras to advance to the finals. Kraft won by default over Wachs to come out of the flight victorious.
In a close match, Luis and Woo defeated Rochester's Gianni Esposito and Nicolas Gritz in extras to advance to the finals (8-7). Luis and Woo fell in a tough back-and-forth finals match against the host's John Hill-Edgar and Edvin Strandberg, losing 7–4 in extras.
The Bombers return to action on Saturday, September 17 to compete in The College of New Jersey Invitational, beginning at 10 a.m.
