Box Score HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Ithaca College men's tennis team suffered their first defeat of the season as they dropped a 6-3 match to Washington College on Tuesday. It was the first-time in both schools history that they played each other as the Bombers took home two wins in singles play to go along with a victory in doubles action.

The lone win in doubles came in the No. 3 flight for the Bombers as the duo of Nicolas Luis and Artem Khaybullin bested the team of Kawai and Gruyon by an 8-6 score.

Ithaca was able to get wins in the second and third flights of singles play on Tuesday. Minos Stavrakas took home the win in the No. 2 flight with scores 3-6, 6-3 and 10-8. Eric Dubilirer was the other winner for IC as he took his matchup by scores of 3-6, 8-6 and 10-6.

The Bombers will return to action on Wednesday at 4 p.m. in Hilton Head against LeTourneau University.
