Box Score ITHACA, N.Y. - In it's first team match since May 2021, the Ithaca College men's tennis team swept Wilkes University 9-0 in Glazer Arena on Saturday afternoon. No opponent grabbed more than three games total in each match from IC. 
 
Nicolas Luis Vega, Minos Stavrakas, Eric Dubilirer, Artem Khaybullin, Deon Kraft and Jacob Wachs all took home both doubles and singles victories for the Bombers. 
 
Stavrakas and Wachs grabbed the first doubles win, dominantly defeating Wilkes' John Touissant and Conor Frey 8-0. 
 
The doubles pairing of Kraft and Dubilirer finished second, taking down the Colonels' Jacob Bosler and Nathaniel Rathe 8-1. 
 
Khaybullin and Luis Vega rounded out the doubles wins for Ithaca, besting their opponents Cole Gibson and Rod Stenson 8-3. 
 
Dubilirer grabbed the first singles win for the Bombers, defeating Wilkes' Frey easily at 6-0, 6-1, the most dominant singles win for the afternoon for Ithaca. 
 
Next up for the Bombers was Khaybullin's singles victory over Colonels' Stenson, 6-0, 6-2. 
 
Stavrakas took home the third singles win for the Bombers, downing his opponent Rathe 6-0, 6-3. 
 
Sophomore Luis Vega bested Wilkes' Toussaint for the fourth singles win of the afternoon for Ithaca 6-1, 6-2. 
 
Kraft grabbed the fifth singles win for the Bombers, defeating Colonels' opponent Bosler 6-1, 6-1.
 
Wachs won the final singles match of the day for IC, bettering opponent Donovan Zhong to seal the win for the team.  
 
Next up, the Bombers will host the Rochester Institute of Technology for it's second match of the spring season next Saturday, Feb. 26. Start time is slated for 10 a.m.
