ITHACA, N.Y. – The NCAA released its Division III Indoor Track & Field Championship qualifiers on Sunday evening and Ithaca College will be represented in 13 different events between the men's and women's championships over the weekend, March 13-14, at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C.
For each men's individual event contested, including the heptathlon, the top 20 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition. For each women's individual event contested, including the pentathlon, the top 20 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition. For each relay event contested, the top 12 declared relay teams, one per institution, were accepted into the competition.

On the women's side, which Ithaca is ranked No. 1 in Division III, eight individuals will compete in nine different events, to go along with a relay team.
Senior
Parley Hannan will run in three events this coming weekend – the 3,000-meter run, 5,000-meter run and the distance medley relay. Hannan ranks first in DIII in the 3K (9:36.23) and 5K (16:12.80), while the DMR (11:48.70) is also first in the country.
Freshman
Tia Jones has qualified in the 60-meter dash and 200-meter dash. Jones will be seeded fourth in the 200 with a qualifying time of 25.19 seconds, while her time of 7.63 seconds in the 60 is sixth overall.
Sophomore
Katelyn Hutchison will see action in the 400-meter dash and DMR. Hutchison is second nationally in the 400 at 57.05 seconds and will join Hannan, along with seniors
Maggie Nickerson and
Lindsay Scott in the DMR.
Sophomore
Meghan Matheny and freshman
Martha Kemp-Neilson will represent the Bombers in the pole vault. Matheny owns the second-best vault of 3.92 meters and has been No. 1 in the country for most of the season, while Kemp-Neilson found her way to nationals with the 19th-best performance of 3.65 meters.
Freshman
Samara Herzog will be set to run in the 60-meter hurdles after a qualifying time of 8.83 seconds, which seeds her 10th in the event.
Senior
Sarah Rudge returns to the national stage in the 800-meter run as she posted a qualifying mark of 2:14.90.
Rounding out the women's participants this weekend is sophomore
Logan Bruce, who will once again compete in the pentathlon. Bruce will be seeded 12th in the championship with a point total of 3393.
On the men's side, which is ranked No. 20 in the nation, three different Bombers will make their appearance in North Carolina.
Sophomore
Dom Mikula will be making his third all-time appearance at nationals in the pole vault, as he will be seeded fourth overall with a top mark of 5.00 meters.
Sophomore
Kasim Cisse makes his first trip to the national championships in the high jump. Cisse, who is still fairly new to the event, posted the fourth-best performance in DIII at 2.11 meters.
Another newcomer to the national stage is sophomore
Luke Tobia, who will compete in the weight throw. Tobia has made tremendous strides over the past few weeks and saved his best performance of the year for the final meet as he posted a mark of 18.50 meters to move him up to eighth overall in DIII.
