ROCHESTER RESULTS
BRIDGEWATER, Va./ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Ithaca College women's track and field team opened up their outdoor track season this past weekend. With the squad split between the Dr. Harry M. Doc Jopson Invitational at Bridgewater College Virginia and the Rochester Spring Opener, the team battled long travel and challenging weather as they opened up their season with numerous Liberty League marks and individual victories.

Rachel Larson won the 400-meter hurdles in 1:05.47 and was the runner-up in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 13.91 seconds.
Lily Seyfert claimed first in the shot put with a heave of 13.96 meters and was second in the discus at 37.28 meters. Seyfert also took second in the hammer throw at 45.93 meters.
Charlotte Powell won the javelin with a mark of 34.26 meters, took third in the hammer at 42.33 meters and fifth in the discus at 30.45 meters.
Anneliese Hubbard took first in the triple jump at 10.31 meters, while
Alexis Brown was the runner-up at 10.26 meters.
Eliana Barnett finished fourth with a mark of 9.96 meters. Brown also took second in the long jump at 4.85 meters and
Celia Ryan was fourth with a mark of 4.74 meters. Ryan also competed in the javelin and was the runner-up at 32.01 meters.
Three other Bombers completed in the 400 hurdles and finished within the top four as
Maria Prattico was the runner-up (1:10.16),
Harper O'Neill was third (1:10.49) and
Kaden LeChase was fourth (1:11.70).
Isabel Rossbach was fifth in the 100 hurdles (15.99), while Prattico took sixth (16.34) and
Cecelia LaBonte was seventh (16.82).
Aynisha McQuillar took third in the 200-meter dash in a time of 25.73 seconds, and
Valentina Wallin was seventh at 26.44 seconds.
The 4x100-meter relay team finished third in 50.15 seconds, while two relays entered the 4x400 and were second and third in times of 4:16.90 and 4:29.12.
ROCHESTER SPRING OPENER
Lydia Barber won the high jump with a clearance of 1.49 meters, while
Talia Hutchinson was first in the pole vault at 3.69 meters.
Bree Boyle and
Raessler Guthrie tied for second in the pole vault at 3.36 meters and
Erin Eastwood picked up a fourth place finish with a clearance of 3.21 meters.
Mackenzi Finley was the runner-up in the 400-meter dash in a time of 1:03.85 and
Athena Giotis took third at 1:04.69.
Violet Sloan posted a time of 2:24.29 in the 800-meter run to secure third and
Cameron Ting placed fifth at 2:25.12.
Logan Brasacchio was the runner-up in the steeplechase in 12:02.48.
Lola Gitlin clocked in at 17:28.58 in the 5000-meter run to finish in fourth, while
Alexandria Maguire also finished fourth in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:21.02.
IC's 4x400-meter relay of
Lyla Powers,
Emma Anderson, Ting and Gitlin took third in 4:22.14.
The team will be together next weekend when they travel to SUNY Cortland on Friday April 3, when they compete in the Cortland Invitational.
