BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Ithaca College men's tennis team was back on the courts in Bloomsburg, Pa., for the final day of action at the Bloomsburg Invitational. Playing doubles matches against the hosts and singles tilts against Wilkes, it was the day's singles session that proved to be the highlight for IC. The Bombers took home several victories during the session against the Colonels to wrap up the successful weekend on a high note.
The Bombers were impressive across the board during singles play, scoring victories in 9-of-10 matchups on the day against Wilkes. Picking up victories were:
George Lomas,
Minos Stavrakas,
Jon Tuerk,
Sam Fried,
Garrett Boleslav,
Stefan Lazarevic,
Ben Sharpe, and
Artem Khaybullin.
The doubles session was not as positive on day two, as the Bombers struggled to get things going against Bloomsburg's tandems units. IC dropped all four of the doubles matches on Sunday.
