CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Ithaca College women's crew had two boats compete at the Head of the Charles on Sunday afternoon on the Charles River in windy conditions.

The duo of juniors
Pearl Outlaw and
Jennie Brian finished in third place in the Mixed Inclusion 2x, racing to a time of 22:20.004. The boat from Athletes Without Limits earned the top spot with a time of 20:56.038 while CRI took second in 21:14.958.

Ithaca's Varsity 8 boat also competed in the Women's Collegiate 8+, in which it finished in fourth place. The boat, consisting of coxswain

Liza Caldicott, raced to a time of 19:10.122 which was good for fourth place.

Last year's national champion, Bates College, took the top spot with a time of 18:18.054, while Williams finished second in 18:38.890 and WPI finished third in 18:42.328.

The Bombers are back in action next Saturday, October 27 at the Head of the Fish in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. IC then rounds out the fall portion of its schedule on Saturday, November 3 at the Cornell Classic on the Cayuga Inlet.
