BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Ithaca College men's tennis team returned to the courts at Bloomsburg University on a pristine Sunday for the final day of action at the Bloomsburg Invitational. Playing some excellent tight matches in the first day of the tournament on Saturday, the play remained exciting and competitive on Sunday, as the Bombers finished the tournament with a solid team performance.
 
Coming off an 11-6 singles record and a 3-2 record in doubles on Saturday, the men's netters notched a 5-4 record in singles and a 1-2 mark in doubles on Sunday. The final day of competition will be the Bombers final competition tune-up ahead of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Northeast Championships, which will be in two weeks.
 
Highlighting Sunday's action in singles were victories by a quartet of sophomores in Minos Stavrakas, Max Prestwich, Liam Spiegel, and Sam Fried. The doubles tandem of Fried and freshman Marshall Comia also scored an impressive triumph over a Bloomsburg combo to round out the day's action.
