WILLIAMS QUAD MEET RESULTS
ITHACA, N.Y. —The nationally-ranked Ithaca College wrestling team traveled to Williams (Mass.) College for a quad meet Saturday afternoon, and the Bombers emerged with three dominant wins on the day.
Ithaca (14-5), ranked ninth in the country by the National Wrestling Coaches' Association, defeated Wesleyan (Conn.) University 36-8, Oneonta 39-3, and handed No. 16 Williams a 34-3 setback as the Bombers improved to 14-4 this year in dual meets against Division III foes.

Jimmy Kaishian and sophomore
Nick Velez each won all three of their matches on the day, while senior

Carlos Toribio and
Nick Wahba, sophomore
Jaison White, and freshmen
Jake Ashcraft and
Ferdinand Mase won a pair of matches for Ithaca.
Against Wesleyan, Kaishian posted a 16-6 major decision win at 125, Mase earned a 2-1 win in sudden victory at 133, Pak posted a 4-0 win at 149, and Velez earned a pin in 2:38 at 165.
Sophomore
Chris Wymer recorded a dominant, 16-1 win via a technical fall in 3:28 at 141, Toribio earned a pin in 2:23 to win at 184, Ashcraft held on for a 5-3 triumph at 197, and Booth won via a forfeit at 285.
Facing in-state rival Oneonta, Ithaca recorded five decision victories and added four pins to knock off Oneonta. Kaishian recorded a 3-1 win at 125, senior
Henry Beaman added a 2-1 win at 133, and Wahba held on for a 3-2 decision at 141.
Then came the pins for the Bombers, as freshman
Jawan Jones earned a pin at 157 in 7:00, Velez posted a pin in 2:54, Toribio pinned his opponent at 184 in 2:00, and senior
Zack Conner earned a pin at 197 in just 39 seconds.
White added a sudden-victory, 4-2 decision win at 174, and freshman
Jake O'Brien captured a 1-0 win at 285 to complete the scoring.
In the final match of the competition, Ithaca recorded six decision wins, one major decision, one pin, and one forfeit victory against host Williams.
Kaishian earned a 9-6 win at 125, Mase recorded a 10-4 win at 133, Wahba had a 6-4 win at 141, and Pak held on for an 8-6 victory at 149.
Senior co-captain
Eamonn Gaffney posted a 6-0 shutout at 157, Velez earned a 4-1 win at 165, White pinned his opponent at 174 in 2:28, Ashcraft secured a 12-3 major decision win at 197, and Booth won by forfeit at 285 for the Bombers.
Ithaca travels to No. 18 Wilkes (Pa.) University for a 7 p.m. dual match Friday night.
