ITHACA, N.Y. – Seven members of the Ithaca College men's wrestling team were recently named to the 2026 NWCA Division III Scholar All-American list. Earning the Scholar All-American honors for the Bombers this season were Akio Sanders, Charlie Turner, Jay McDonnell, Kamdyn Dorchester, Konrad Parker, Ryan Galka and Tomah Gummow.
 
In order to be recognized, wrestlers must have an average GPA of 3.20 or better over the last two semesters or must have a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or better. In addition, they must accomplish one of the following two things: 1) place in the top eight in an NCAA regional tournament; or 2) wrestle at least 15 matches and have a win percentage greater than 66 percent (not counting matches versus teammates). 
 
A total of 473 student-athletes representing 105 institutions were recognized for their academic success in the classroom while competing throughout the season. The scholar awards follow the conclusion of the NCAA D3 Men's Championships, which took place March 13-14.
