2025-26: Had a stellar rookie season, qualifying for the NCAA Championships and finishing with a 34-12 record…Wasted no time getting acquainted in the 285lbs division, placing second at the Ithaca Invitational after going into a tie-breaker with Springfield’s Benjamin Katz…Had another great outing at the NYS Collegiate Championships Open, where he placed third after pinning Oneonta’s Kenny Jackson in 3:58…He also placed third at the SUNYAC Championships, going 5-1, with two falls and two decisions…Dorchester qualified for NCAAs after placing third at NCAA Regionals with a  9-1 major decision over Alfred State’s Aaron Johnson…He rounded out his freshman campaign with a 2-2 outing at the 2026 NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships…Named NWCA Scholar All-American. 

High School: Kamdyn Dorchester was a four-year starter for Carthage High School, excelling at 285 pounds. A two-time Section 3 champion and 2025 NYSPHSAA State Champion, he also earned Section 3 Wrestler of the Year honors. Dorchester was a team captain his final two seasons. Dorchester also played varsity football and lacrosse for three years.

Personal: Kamdyn is the son of Donald and Stacy. He has one sister.
