HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- The Ithaca College men's tennis team dropped a 5-4 dual match against Kutztown on Thursday night at the Beach & Tennis Club at Hilton Head, S.C. Ithaca is 2-3-1 on the season and Kutztown improved to 5-2.

The Bombers picked up a victory at first doubles as Wes Davis and Jack Melhorn were 8-3 winners. Ithaca trailed 2-1 after doubles play.

Three of the six singles matches included a set that went to a tiebreak, and Ithaca earned victories from Chris Hayes, Wes Davis and Brandon Buksbaum.

Ithaca will return to action Saturday, March 21 against Houghton at the Reis Tennis Center at Cornell, and Ithaca will host Alfred on Sunday, March 22 on the IC campus.
