Box Score ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Ithaca College field hockey team dropped a 2-1 decision to conference foe St. John Fisher Saturday afternoon. The loss pushes Ithaca's record to 2-4 overall, with a mark of 0-1 in the Empire 8.

Natalie Lynch each added two. Despite the loss, Ithaca outshot the Cardinals, 20-16, and generated eight penalty corners to Fisher's five.
The Cardinals scored first, netting a goal at 21:28 of the first half to take a 1-0 lead.
The Bombers answered with the first tally of the second half. O'Neil's goal in the 51st minute marked her first of the season, and first since scoring against William Smith on Oct. 15 of last year.
The Cardinals pulled ahead again, scoring a goal with under two minutes to play. The score gave St. John Fisher the 2-1 lead, securing the victory for the Cardinals.
Ithaca returns to Higgins Stadium on Sept. 24 to take on Houghton in another conference matchup. Game time is set for 4 p.m.Â
