Ithaca College Athletics

2014: Coiro started all 16 games for the Bombers in the 2014 season. She was named to the All-Empire 8 First Team, and was also a NFHCA All-North Atlantic Region Second Team selection. Coiro finished the year with seven goals and two assists, totaling 16 points. She ranked second on the team in total points and in goals scored. Coiro recorded 43 shots on the year. She was one of 59 field hockey athletes chosen to participate in the 2014 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III Senior Game.

2013: Coiro started in all 18 games for Ithaca during the year. She was named to the NFHCA North Atlantic Region Second Team, the first Bomber to do so since Marisa Frank in 2008. She ranked first on the team with 25 points and ranked tied for first with 10 goals on the year. Coiro’s point total (25) ranked seventh in the conference, earning her a spot on the All-Empire 8 First Team. Coiro was named Empire 8 Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 9 after scoring two goals in back-to-back games. 

2012: Coiro appeared in all 18 games for the Bombers in her sophomore season and made five starts at forward. She netted a career-best two goals, combining with two assists for six points on the year. Coiro’s first-career goal came in an 8-1 win over Morrisville. 

2011: Coiro appeared in 15 of Ithaca's 16 games as a freshman and recorded 13 shots.

High School: Danielle is a graduate of Passaic Valley High School. She earned first-team all-county and all-conference honors in 2010 and was named third-team all state. Danielle was Passaic Valley’s team captain as a senior after earning honorable mention all-county honors in 2009.

Personal: Danielle is a computer science major and is the daughter of Angelo and Karen Coiro.
