ITHACA, N.Y. -- The 15th-ranked Ithaca College baseball team (32-6) won its fifth game in five days, all at home, with a 15-5 victory over St. Lawrence (17-14) on Wednesday afternoon at Freeman Field. The Bombers scored three runs in each of four different innings and scored at least one run in six of the eight innings in which they batted. Ithaca's 15 runs matched its second-highest total of the season and the Bombers totaled 29 runs over the last two games.
Matt Connolly was 5-for-5 to lead the way for Ithaca, with five RBIs and two runs scored. He doubled twice.
Tim Locastro reached base four times via two hits and he was also hit by two pitches to raise his total to 25 in that category. Locastro also had two stolen bases and has 32 steals on the year, which ranks in the top 10 in the NCAA.
Christian Brown hit his second home run of the season, a two-run shot to left in the second inning.
Max Addy also had two hits for Ithaca.
The Bombers totaled 13 hits and took advantage of four St. Lawrence errors.
Andrew Sanders was effective over five innings and picked up the win. He had one strikeout.
Matt Colbert worked two innings of relief with three strikeouts.
Chris Anderson pitched the eighth and
David Jasukonis pitched the ninth inning with two strikeouts.
