ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Ithaca men's tennis team (3-6, 2-1 Empire 8) dropped a 7-2 dual match Sunday morning against Stevens Institute of Technology (6-5, 4-0 Empire 8). The match began indoors at Glazer Arena, where doubles matches were contested. Singles play continued outdoors on the Wheeler Tennis Courts. Ithaca returns to action Wednesday at St. John Fisher.

The Bombers trailed 2-0 in doubles matches, but the third doubles team of freshman Justin Levine and sophomore Griffin Reid rallied from a 6-1 deficit to comeback and win 9-7. Levine also won at fifth singles 7-5, 2-6, 6-4. Four of the six singles matches were extended to three sets.
