ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Ithaca men's tennis team improved to 2-0 in Empire 8 play with a 9-0 victory over visiting Hartwick at Glazer Arena inside of the Athletics & Events Center. Ithaca hosts a key Empire 8 match against Stevens Institute of Technology at 9 a.m. Sunday. Ithaca is 3-5 in dual matches this season. Hartwick is 1-6 overall and 1-3 in the conference.

The Bombers swept the doubles matches, highlighted by an 8-2 win at second doubles by senior Dan Levine and junior Kyle Riether. Four of Ithaca's six singles wins were straight-set victories.
