Orange, Calif. -- The #30 baseball team (3-1) dropped its first game of the season, losing to #2 Kean (10-1) 20-4 Sunday at Chapman. The Bombers take on the Panthers, ranked 20th nationally, in single games Monday and Tuesday.

Senior first baseman Trever Wolf (Lansing/Freeville) had three of Ithaca's 10 hits, collecting a triple and a pair of singles. Third baseman David Ahonen (Victor/Farmington), a graduate student,  singled, doubled and drove in a run. The RBI was the 100th of his career; he's the 18th Bomber to reach that total.
