Troy, N.Y. – Four different members of the Ithaca men's swimming & diving team (2-0) won two individual events to lead the Bombers to a 196-104 win at Rensselaer on Saturday.
Senior diver
Derek Rand (Amity/Orange, Conn.), senior
Jeff Rapp (Liverpool/Liverpool) freshman
Clement Towner (Lansing/Lansing) and sophomore
Cheffy Thomas (Carmel/Carmel, Ind.) won two events each.
Rand won the 1-meter diving with 283.40 points and 3-meter diving with 285.25 points, as both scores met the NCAA B provisional qualifying standard.
Rapp won the 200-yard backstroke (2:02.38) and 200-yard individual medley (2:03.10).
Towner won the 200- and 500-yard freestyle events with times of 1:46.81 in the 200 and 4:56.59 in the 500.
Thomas won both the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke events with a time of 1:02.58 in the 100 and 2:18.91 in the 200.
Freshman
Ben Kennedy (Belmont/Belmont, Mass.) won the 100-yard backstroke in 55.81 seconds; senior
Antoine Connors (Spartanburg/Spartanburg, S.C.) won the 50 free in 21.92 seconds and junior
Jake Robbins (Fairport/Fairport) won the 100 free in 48.83 seconds.
Ithaca won the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:38.56 with the quartet of sophomore
Connor White (Fox Lane/Pound Ridge), junior
Jake Lichter (Weston/Weston, Mass.),

Peter Knight (Franklin D. Roosevelt/Hyde Park) and sophomore
