Claremont, Calif.--Ithaca (0-6) fell 6-4 to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (11-9) Friday evening. The team returns to action Saturday at Cal Lutheran.

The Bombers scored all their runs off a home run from Ian Gaule (Columbia/East Greenbush), the first career home run for the freshman. Freshman Matt Keller (Pelham/Pelham) and juniors Trevor Wolf (Freeville/Lansing) and David Ahonen (Victor/Farmington) scored on the blast.

Ahonen went 3-for-4 at the plate.

On the mound, junior Aaron Sapp (Niskayuna/Niskayuna) threw 4.1 innings in the start and allowed three runs. Freshman Jasper Adams (Amherst Regional/Amhherts, Mass.) pithced four innings in relief and allowed just one earned run.
