Geneva, N.Y. -- The Ithaca men's tennis team (12-3) defeated Hobart 7-2 Monday evening at the Bristol Field House on Hobart's campus. The Bombers swept all three doubles matches and went on to their fourth consecutive win. The Bombers have won nine of their last 10 dual matches.

The regionally-ranked doubles team of junior Taylor Borda (West Morris-Mendham/Chester, N.J.) and sophomore Josh Rifkin (Homestead/Ft. Wayne, Ind.) were 8-1 winners at first doubles and freshman Jimmy Newton (Florida Virtual School/Englewood, Fla.) and junior Danny Wolk (The Field School/Potomac, Md.) won by the same score at second doubles. Sophomore Daniel Adelman (Pomfret School/Hampton, Conn.) and senior Andrew Dunnick (Ithaca/Ithaca) won 8-6 at third doubles.

Borda, Rifkin, Newton and Wolk won in singles competition.

Tuesday's scheduled match versus St. Lawrence was postponed and no make-up date has been announced. The Bombers are scheduled to return to action Friday at Stevens at 4 p.m.
