ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Ithaca field hockey team (2-7-0, 0-2-0 Empire 8) fell to #16 Stevens (9-1-0, 2-0-0 Empire 8) by a score of 2-0 on Saturday at Yavits Field in Ithaca.

The Bombers stuck with the conference-leading Ducks and kept the game tied at 0-0 until the 63rd minute. Senior goalie Chelsea Welsh (Scotia-Glenville/Scotia) played all 70 minutes and made 10 saves in the loss.

Ithaca's next contest will be on Wednesday as it hosts Wilkes on Yavits Field at 4 p.m.
