Biography

2007: Welsh started 10 games and played in 14 for the Bombers, recording a .770 save percentage and 2.56 goals-against average in compiling a 4-5 record. She combined with Courtney Dowell to team up for three shutouts in the 2007 campaign. Welsh made a career-high 18 saves in the first half of a loss to #15 Springfield.
 
 
2006: Welsh appeared in two games in goal for the Bombers, including her first career start against #16 Springfield. She went 0-1 with a 2.41 goals against average and a .667 save percentage.
 
High School: A 2006 graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School, Welsh was coached by Sue Davenport. She earned three varsity letters a s a member of the field hockey team and served as team captain as a senior. She was a two-time league all-star and was a Sectional all-star her senior year. Welsh was also selected to play in the senior all-star game. Welsh was also a two-year letter winner as a member of the lacrosse team.
 
Personal: An athletic training major, she is the daughter of William and Jacqueline Welsh.
