Hoboken, N.J. – Hoboken, N.J. – The #12 men's basketball team (15-1, 6-1 Empire 8) erased a late 10-point deficit to beat the host Stevens Institute of Technology Ducks (10-7, 3-5 Empire 8) 84-80 Sunday.
Freshman #Jordan Marcus# (Solomon Schechter/West Orange, N.J.) hit two late three-point baskets and senior point guard Sean Burton (Yorkville/Notre Dame) converted five free throws in the final minute – including a pair with 42 seconds to go that put Ithaca up 79-78.

He tied the score at 72 with a three-pointer with 3:07 to go, then with 1:29 remaining, he rebounded his own missed free throw and made a three-pointer to bring Ithaca to within 78-77. Burton's go-ahead free throws followed to put the Bombers ahead to stay.
On the Ducks' next possession, Bostic blocked a Stevens shot and Ithaca controlled the rebound. Burton and senior guard #Brendan Rogers# (Liverpool/Liverpool), who scored 15 points, combined to make five free throws in the final 23 seconds.
