Rochester, N.Y.—Ithaca (11-11) fell to Springfield (15-4) on the second day of competition at the Nazareth Invitational. The Bombers are 1-2 at the tournament with one match left to play on Saturday.

Jen Heberton (Darien/Darien, Ct.) led the Bombers in kills. She put down eight. Junior
Francine Nikas (Greenwich/Greenwich, Ct.) and freshman
Kate Thoene (Voorhees/Glen Gardner, N.J.) each chipped in five.
