2007: Heberton appeared in all 39 of Ithaca’s matches as a sophomore, recording 384 kills, 85 digs and 109 blocks. She led the team in blocking and was tied for the lead with a .243 attack percentage. Heberton reached double figures in kills 16 times, including a career-high and team-leading 20 in the ECAC championship victory over Vassar. She also set match-highs in every other major statistical category during the 2007 season: four assists against Skidmore, seven blocks against Cortland and seven digs against both Skidmore and Cortland. She hit a career-best .700 with 15 kills against just one error in a win over Alfred. Heberton was an honorable mention on the Empire 8 All-Star team.
2006: Heberton appeared in 25 matches as a freshman, totaling 135 kills and 35 blocks. She tallied a career-best 16 kills in a win over Utica and also recorded double-digit kill efforts in wins over Nazareth and Oneonta. Heberton recorded a career-high four digs three times and a career-best four blocks twice.
High School: A 2006 graduate of Darien High School, Heberton was coached by Laurie Carusso. She earned three varsity letters as a member of the volleyball team, earning first-team all-conference and first-team all-state honors. Heberton was honored her senior year as the state MVP and was named the 2005 Player of the Year by the Hartford Courant. She was also a member of the swimming & diving team.
Personal: A clinical science/physical therapy major, she is the daughter of Pam and Dick Heberton. She is also a member of the swimming & diving team.
