Allentown, Pa.--The Bombers competed at the Muhlenberg Invitational Saturday. Ithaca won three events and posted five ECAC Championship-qualifying performances.
All track events were hand-timed (hand-timed results for races up to and including 400 meters are ineligible for qualification for the NCAA Championships).
Sophomore Marcia McCord (Rancocas Valley/Mt. Holly, N.J.) won the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.2, a new personal best an an ECAC-qualifying time. She was also runner-up in the long jump at 5.20 meters.
Senior Lauren Koppel (Southside/Rockville Center) was also an ECAC qualifier, finished second in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.9. Koppel also placed fifth in the long jump with a leap of 5.02 meters.
Freshman Ashley Dlubac (Merrimack Valley/Loudon, N.H.) was runner-up in the javelin with an ECAC-qualifying throw of 37.20 meters. Dlubac provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships in the event at the Ithaca Invitational.
Two Ithaca relays also qualified for the ECAC Championships. The 1,600-meter relay team was victorious with a time of 4:09.4. The 400-meter relay team placed second at 49.2.
Senior Alison Siderko (Manasquan/Brielle, N.J.) was Ithaca's other event winner. She won the high jump at 4 feet, 10 inches.
